Code Compliance

 

FLS Associates will analyze building, life safety and fire protection codes and standards to provide input for the fire protection strategy of any project. The code expertise of FLS Associates allows architects, engineers and building owners/managers to maximize their designs while meeting the intent of all applicable codes and standards.

 

FLS Associates will communicate on behalf of the architect/engineer and the building owner/developer with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) regarding the project’s intended fire protection approach. Our intent is to explain, clarify and interpret the goals fire protection strategy while staying inline with the international and local codes. By establishing this relationship with the AHJ we can ensure that the project can proceed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
